Open Death Conversation #2: July 30, 2019. 7-9pm. Online.

Some of you know that I offered an online “Open Death Conversation” via my website last year. I have an idea for a different sort of conversation this year.  Tricycle Magazine is streaming a film: “Defining Hope” until July 9. It’s a 78 minute film that looks at death and dying through the eyes of eight people, their families, and their nurses. I haven’t seen it yet but just the trailer is amazingly moving.

Here’s a link to information on last year’s online Death Conversation, to give you an idea of how the format works. I will be the facilitator, but also plan to join in the discussion.

Here’s the link from Tricycle on the film. If you don’t have a Tricycle subscription, it’s available on Youtube for $3.99 and on Amazon for $4.99.

As with the Online sitting group, this event is free. It would be appreciated if you would help me with the costs for maintaining this website and the conferencing service by clicking the donation button on this page and offering a small amount.

Let me know if you’re interested in joining a conversation about this film. Contact me via the form below.
