Dear Friends,
I wanted to follow up on Sunday’s discussion last week and clarify what I was trying to say. I voiced some concerns that I was no longer sure about continuing the Sunday sittings, and that I wanted to have one on one Zoom meetings with the five members of the sitting group before deciding what to do going forward. Everyone agreed that we could set up individual meetings with me later this week.
I’ve reconsidered this course of action and don’t think it’s necessary for me to “require” a Zoom meeting with each of you unless you want to talk to me in private. Please let me know if you want to talk. I would be happy to.
I have decided that it is best to discontinue the Sunday sitting group for the foreseeable future.
I am always available to talk to you, on an individual basis, about your personal meditation practice.
This is a good time to stop the meetings: I began in July of 2017 so 4 years is a good run. We can have our final Sunday sitting on July 11, since some people won’t be able to make it on July 4. I will send out the usual invitations on July 4 and July 11. This way, everyone should have an opportunity to say goodbye.
Yours,
Wendy
